New Delhi (Staff Reporter) An important meeting was organized by the Waqf Welfare Forum for the protection of Waqf properties and eviction from government seizures, in which the MPs urged the Muslim MPs to work together on this issue. In the meeting, Member of Parliament Imran Pratap Garhi, Member of Parliament Maulana Mohibullah Nadvi addressed the panel members and assured that the government will not encroach on the places of worship, dargahs, mosques and properties of Muslims.

Muslim Members of Parliament will work together for Javed Ahmed, president of Waqf Welfare Forum, briefed the panel members about the efforts being made in Delhi NCR, particularly Sunhari Bagh Masjid, Sarai Kale Khan Masjid, Dargah Sheikh Sarai Kisna Graveyard Greater Noida, Modi Nagar Graveyard Ghaziabad. Ko Talali Masjid Mao, shared information about Dargah. Justice JDU KhanAnd Salamatullah, former chairman of Haj Committee of India, stressed on maintaining coordination with the office of Waqf Board regarding maintenance of Waqf properties and documents. Thus, more strategies were also discussed in this program. Abdul Kalam Khan, Zafar Alam Khan, Dr. Ilyas Ahmed, Parvez Hayat, AMN Chaudhary and Hassan Alam also expressed their views in the meeting.
